Skin detox

Woooosh. I am not sure if I am going to be able to but I am going to try my best. Since last year, when I moved to NYC my skin has been a hot mess and not hot in a cute way, I mean in a very crazy way. I think that the combination of everything has made a huge impact on my life and how I react to things specially my body and skin since they have been the one that have suffered the most. Lifestyle Detox

Being stressed all the time (I just can't help it) running around everywhere and not having time at all have been the 3 major things that are affecting my lifestyle. While I don't feel super bad I am not feeling at my greatest since I am tired all day since I wake up, I don't have enough energy (even tho I do everything I want) but it would be nicer to do everything with energy. I'm gonna make these changes...

Now that I work at a proper office, my daily outfits have changed. With this crazy weather and the fact that I have to run all over Manhattan, work wear has been a high interest of mine lately and a worry to say the least.

Living alone; NYC Girl

You always dreamed about it when you were in high school, you would always say 'When I turn 18, I'll be out of my parent's and enjoy life'. Let me tell you the truth. Best decision I've ever made, al though not because I wanted to leave my parents, I adore living with my mom and I miss her every day, as well as my dad and the rest of my family. But living by yourself is such a journey, emotionally and physically (because now you have to take care of yourself in every way. Not so good at cooking huh?.. yeah me neither).

Net a Porter is by far one of my favorite websites when it comes to designer pieces. And their SALES are always amazing, but to be honest I never saw a SALE this good. Lately I just want to buy all the sneakers on earth (tbh I only own like 1 pair or 2) and also I've been eyeing those Nike airmax 90 for a while now! And look at this! All these sneakers are almost like 50% OFF! isn't that amazing and way better than a Black Friday deal with a 2 hour line and tons of people fighting over things!? On the hunt for the perfect pair.

You might remember these booties from Zara and I love them they are absolutely my go to bootie whenever I want to go out and do something while I want to keep it casual but stylish, but these bad boys hurt so bad, like I can't go to a party with them or my feet will start bleeding, they are by far the most uncomfortable shoes ever created.

NYC Landmarks

The Flat iron building must be one of my favorite building of all times, it has something in its architecture that is quite fashionable and it gives me the illusion of the old Europe vs the modern US. To be honest NY or the US in itself doesn't hold a lot of history, most of it is modern history or pop culture, but the streets of New York have something, that my grandmother used to say and love about it, the city that never sleeps and that's what I love about it!

White after Labor Day

 

Well hello! It's been a month and it felt good to kind of disconnect from the internet (kinda) and get to explore NYC with one of my best friends. BTW Happy Labor day! I honestly don't know anything about this holiday but what always caught my eye it was the rule " Don't wear white after Labor Day", I did my research and found out why you "can't" wear white. Let me be your history teacher for a couple of minutes or seconds.

Positive NYC

Sorry for being so MIA, between work and moving to another place has been a battle! Today I have another New York post but with a positive note to you all. 

When I first move here I loved it and 2 weeks later I was really thinking if I could see myself here and what I really wanted to do in the future.
