Oscar and fashion winner: Jennifer Lawrence topped the best dressed at the Academy Awards on Sunday night, in a stunning bridal inspired Dior Haute Couture dress

Since I am in Brazil I was unale to watch the Oscars and the red carpet, but as a loyal fashion lover and blogger, the first thing I did this morning was to see the dresses and the winners.

Black magic: (L-R) Adele, who wore Jenny Packham, Dame Shirley Bassey and Nicole Kidman played it safe in black for the evening

Talking about the ceremony of itself, Naomi Watts should have won, because that movie (which I highly recommend (The Impossible) was AMAZING!!! And moving to the dresses, she actually was one of my favorites, I loved that dress with that cu, it was devine.

Hot metal: Naomi Watts was stunning in silver Armani Prive while Catherine Zeta Jones opted for a golden Zuhair Murad creation

Jennifer Hudson, Charlize Theron, Jessica Chastain, Amy Adams and Amanda Seycried were the stars that I liked the most. Anne Hathaway on the other hand was awful (my opinion) and Reese Witherspoon wasn't as amazing as other times.

Pale and interesting: Anne Hathaway, Jessica Chastain and Charlize Theron all opted for pale hues as they posed up on the red carpet

Glamour girls: Amanda Seyfried (L) wore an embellished Alexander McQueen frock while Kristen Stewart also focused on detailing in her Reem Acra

Girls on Fire: Jessica and fellow redhead Amy Adams both narrowly missed out on taking home trophies, but will no doubt get best dressed nods for their gowns

Bang on trend: Midnight blue has been a regular red carpet choice for stars recently and Jennifer Hudson (L) and Helen Hunt jumped on the bandwagon for the awards

Blonde bombshell: Reese Witherspoon looked cute in cobalt blue as she gave photographers an eyeful on the red carpet
