2015 Most read posts!

Weird for me to do 2 posts in one day but I thought it was a good idea to recap on the most read blog posts of 2015! And I also want to start fresh in the New Year so that's the main reason why I am posting it today.

NYE last minute outfit ideas

Wow NYE! If you still don't know what to wear here are some ideas you might want to try! I wish your 2016 to be an amazing year and I hope you have fun tonight!! LET'S PARTYYYY!

Little Italy

Little Italy, it makes me think of my roots because if you don't know all of my family comes from Italy but surprise surprise, I don't love pasta, I mean I like it but it doesn't drive me crazy, Lasagna on the other hand... damn I love that. LOVE people! Anyways, back to the point of this awesome neighborhood which feels like you are in Italy at night, with cool lights all over the streets and every single man outside restaurant shouting buongiorno or buonanotte with the hopes you choose their tables to get food and enjoy a magical evening in what seems to be another country inside the city.

Minimal

Since going to New York and getting out of my comfort zone I've been into this more brave attitude in life and I have to be honest, I always been considered brave but with some things I am extremely coward which is nothing bad, I just don't have that adventurous mind. But New York sure changed that in myself that's why I am considering getting ear piercings, but lots of them.

My beloved SoHo

I am exhausted if not bored of reminiscing so much about NYC but what can I say!? I love my city, I love the place I live in and I cannot be more excited about the future and present that I have right now. One of my beloved neighborhoods is definitely SoHo.

Merry Christmas!

Merry Christmas to you all! Thank you for another great year here at TheStyleStash.com and for following me, reading my posts ( we all know I've been lacking a little) but I appreciate every single comment and person that writes me because of TSS! Cheers to another great stylish year! And as a gift I gathered some AWESOME deals for you to shop today (We all know you want to spend all that money dad gave you!).

Gift guide for Home

Bad idea to do this gift guide because now I want everything for me!!!! All of the things are so pretty I am in love, specially with this terrarium thing or whatever it is. Sometimes when you don't know what to give someone just opt for something for their home, analyze what they like and the decor of their home and you will be good to go and who wouldn't love any of these items !?!

Gift guide for Him

Men in coats.

Don't they look amazing in long coats and hats? That's definitely my style of man. And to be brutally honest and selfish, all of this was created for my dream man's style. The shoes, the coats, the sunglasses and the perfume bottle (cause I've never tried it before).

Gift guide for Her

I am here to help today! (and the next days too). I decided it was time, since we are running out of time, to create a Gifts guide for her this Christmas. I honestly don't remember if I've done these before and I am to lazy to go on my archives and search, I guess they say "Out with the old in with the new!" So I am going to share my faves to give this season.

Comfy love

Net a Porter is by far one of my favorite websites when it comes to designer pieces. And their SALES are always amazing, but to be honest I never saw a SALE this good. Lately I just want to buy all the sneakers on earth (tbh I only own like 1 pair or 2) and also I've been eyeing those Nike airmax 90 for a while now! And look at this! All these sneakers are almost like 50% OFF! isn't that amazing and way better than a Black Friday deal with a 2 hour line and tons of people fighting over things!? Head over to Net-a-porter right now!

Time to shine!

With my last post is time to prepare ourselves for the festivities! What are you going to wear? Black or Gold? Some colors maybe? Sequins and Glitter? or something more classic? All of this is super simple and I am here to help you!

Santa's helpers!

OMG can you believe how fast the year passed by? Can you believe Christmas is a couple of days away!? Surreal, I know, I still can't believe Christmas is just around the corner and so NYE and my birthday (that's the exciting part!!!). But today is all about you guys, I am here to help you with stocking stuffers and christmas presents, let's make this easy! (all of these are under $50!)

Holy grails

I know I've been the worst blogger in the history of blogging, but New York just suck me into that fast pace and made me wander every single minute in what great city I live in. Now it is time to share some of my beauty essential who have become my holy grails with the years.

Museum of Feelings

Museum of feelings. More than experimenting feelings in a museum, I felt everything throughout the whole day. I enjoyed great food, company and many laughs with my best friends who are my chosen family in New York City. Honestly I could not be more blessed. This year has been a total struggle but everything that has taught me is truly invaluable, I learnt and lived things I cannot buy with all the money in the world and although God took away from me one of the most important person in my life, he gave me some other great people who I believe and know will have forever as my friends.

Thoughts on the last chapter

Okay, okay. December has officially arrived and that means the last chapter of the book of 2015. And with that is time to look back into the year that is going to an end. While I am listening to a song from Amelie (yup, the movie I haven't seen) is kinda depressing but exciting so I am going to put it like rather bittersweet.

How to wear oversized coats

Tough one, if you are short these might be a big problem, if you are a little but curvier these will add volume, so let's say oversized coats are not the easiest to pull off. But luckily for you I am here to the rescue! While oversized coats are a great piece for Fall/Winter considering they are both stylish and warm (hello NYC winter) is best to say that they need a little thought while choosing your outfit.

Faux fur elements

Faux fur is definitely one of my guilty pleasures, I probably own more than 15 faux fur pieces but I only managed to bring 1 coat to NYC. Now that is a bummer, but it can also be a blessing in disguise considering I can buy way more faux fur things while in winter, in NYC. Like my parents told me to buy stuff, isn't that awesome!?

On the hunt for the perfect pair.

You might remember these booties from Zara and I love them they are absolutely my go to bootie whenever I want to go out and do something while I want to keep it casual but stylish, but these bad boys hurt so bad, like I can't go to a party with them or my feet will start bleeding, they are by far the most uncomfortable shoes ever created.

Cats in Brooklyn

If you ask me what is my favorite part of New York city, I honestly couldn't choose only one but I am sure I wouldn't pick Brooklyn. I have nothing against it, is just I love the fast paced environment Manhattan has and I think I couldn't move out from the City. But I would tell you that Dumbo holds a special place in my heart.

Denim Trend 15'

fashion bloggers usa
One of the biggest trends this year? Denim. For sure. If I have to say something completely sure and confident about it would be that 2015 was the year of the Jeans (and Kylie Jenner lol). And what is my opinion about that? I love it.

An Indie thing

So I have a weird obsession which doesn't even translate into my personal style, but Indie fashion (movies, books and even music) are one of my "guilty" pleasures. I might be the complete opposite to the average Indie personality but there is something I love about all these Indie-style people.

NYC Landmarks

style usa

The Flat iron building must be one of my favorite building of all times, it has something in its architecture that is quite fashionable and it gives me the illusion of the old Europe vs the modern US. To be honest NY or the US in itself doesn't hold a lot of history, most of it is modern history or pop culture, but the streets of New York have something, that my grandmother used to say and love about it, the city that never sleeps and that's what I love about it!

White after Labor Day

Well hello! It's been a month and it felt good to kind of disconnect from the internet (kinda) and get to explore NYC with one of my best friends. BTW Happy Labor day! I honestly don't know anything about this holiday but what always caught my eye it was the rule " Don't wear white after Labor Day", I did my research and found out why you "can't" wear white. Let me be your history teacher for a couple of minutes or seconds.

Positive NYC

Sorry for being so MIA, between work and moving to another place has been a battle! Today I have another New York post but with a positive note to you all.
When I first move here I loved it and 2 weeks later I was really thinking if I could see myself here and what I really wanted to do in the future.

When you wonder

SoHo must be one of my favorite places in NYC, because of how quite (some areas) are and also because of the very european vibe I get every time I go there. Since coming to NYC by myself, i've experienced so many things ( I think I already wrote about that millions of times) but getting out of your comfort zone is one of the best things you can do to discover new things.

Let's stay positive

Hey guys! Lately I've been in this positive kick and it has been really helpful. I wanted to share this with you because lately I've been posting a lot of reflective/positive thoughts on my instagram and you guys should definitely check it out so we can all make this world a better place!

Heat wave styles

Hey guys! I've been very busy, first of all because I found a job! (isn't that so cool?) Working in NYC, who knew! Anyways, for today I wanted to give you the option for this kind of heat wave at the moment, both in Europe and in NYC! It is a laid back style, chic, comfy and monochromatic, just how I like it! Remember you can twitch it the way you want because is all about being true to ourselves!

All black vibes

So I am studying Fashion Merchandising, and what I've hear a lot from professors at my school is that people don't dress as formal as they would do in Manhattan. I wonder why is that because for sure I love formal dressing and I started to see what people were wearing and they were absolutely right.

Kendall Jenner's Style

Guess who sorted out photoshop!!! OK, I've been trying to get this post up for more than 10 days now and finally I have everything I need.
A couple of weeks ago, me and my roommate were chatting Which celebrity would you steal her entire closet? and funny thing, she answered Kendall Jenner, which I like how she dresses but I don't know if I ever thought of stealing her closet, maybe Kylie's but Kendall's... ? And it got stuck in my head for a while and you know what? I am in love how Kendall Jenner has dressed lately.

Experiences

It's been crazy few days in New York City and my love for it grows everyday, there is so much stuff to do here is insane, this city really never stops! I've been checking out some cool places and having some serious experiences. From Chinatown, to the Brooklyn bridge, to the Disney store in Times Square to dozens of museums. You can follow all of these adventures real time on my IG and Snapchat, both are @TheStyleStash! I hope you join in this adventure as well! (Sorry for my lack of posts, I've been having a ton of problems with photoshop, where I edit my photos so they can all have the same width and style! I will try to solve this in the next few days! )

Nordstrom's Anniversary Sale

It is time folks! Nordstrom's anniversary sale just started for cardholders of Nordstrom! Did you know these are fall items marked down? So when the time the sale ends they will have their original price (much higher). I recommend you sign up for the card to have early access to the sale (Sale for everyone starts on June 17th.) Happy Shopping!

The perfect style

Sometimes I spend too much time on Tumblr and sometimes I spend too much time on Pinterest, I always see myself looking for different things in these 2 platforms, but what always remains the same in any social media website is that I always search for one of my favorite couture houses of all times. CHANEL

Keeping it simple

Well, well, well. When I first saw all youtubers getting the new Infallible pro matte foundation from L'oreal I was like SOLD, I NEED IT and of course in Chile never came (or it wasn't in the same packaging) and also it was double the price, since I knew I was coming to NYC I decided to wait and buy it in the first CVS that I come across.

Hair care

My hair is one of the things I worry about the most, I like to have volume, length and health that's why I cut my hair every 2 months or every month if I remember (because I only cut it on full moon!). And when I got some nice stuff from Ulta, these too came as a gift so why not trying them and give you my opinion about them.

A pick me up!

Well, we all have been there. To give up on the trend and buy the expensive, nice packaged one? or take the chance and buy the cheapest one hoping it might not be as good as the high end one. I am here to give your pores a great solution.

Payday wishlist

I can't believe how fast the months are going by! Can you believe it's going to be July!?! That is just crazy, but what I love about a month coming to an end, is that it means Payday! which means, shopping! I gathered some pieces that I thought you might like and there are some personal faves too! Enjoy

New In: Luminoso

Ok, another beauty buy today! Well Milani products have been in my mind for a long time and actually I've tried some of them and really like them, but I've never tried their blushes which seem everyone loves them. I had a coupon so, why not trying it? I went for Luminoso, which is definitely not a shade in my cosmetic buy.

MET Museum stroll

Now that I feel more at "home" in NYC I can finally sort out how to operate the subway.. well not operate the subway in itself but operate how am I going to get to my destination and that means more touristy posts about New York.
The other day we went to the MET Museum to see the China through the looking glass exhibit. Let me tell you ...

Murad moisture

I don't remember if I post this or I just have been thinking about it for a while since I'm in NYC. I have some trips where I am all about makeup or clothes but I think this one, has been all about skincare. I've been trying a lot of different things lately and of course I want to share some secrets with you!

NYC Baby

Hey guys! MIA here reporting. I am just so bad at organizing my time lately its insane, in the meantime if you don't follow me on Instagram and snapchat, well you should because I am sharing all the behind the scenes of living in NYC! It is still so cray cray to say I live in NYC... it feels so crazy lol!

Moisture. CHECK.

I first heard about these Sephora face masks when they came out, last year I think. And I bought myself only one, this pink one to my plane ride back to Chile, and OMG what a difference they made to my skin on that trip! It is AMAZING the power of moisture these have!

Stripes and Lace

So the funny story with this shoes is, I was shopping with a friend, (and for days I've been telling myself my flip flops were going to die very soon) while I was wondering at H&M and all of a sudden I get myself stuck and see my foot, and yup, my flip flop was broken entirely. Of course in the middle of NYC near Time Square where you don't want to go bare feet, so I had to grab any kind of shoe I could at the store.

Inspired by windows

Hi guys! I promise now I am back and not going anywhere! I had a couple of problems with my computer so everything is now up and running! (hopefully smoothly!) The other day I went with my friend to Saks Fifth Avenue and let me tell you, how amazing all the things were, it is impossible to go in and not buy anything (well if you can afford it of course lol) but being able to spy on some designer pieces is just so refreshing! I wanted to share this pictures with you so you can feel inspired as well!

NYC living

Hi people! Sorry for the lack of posts this month but I was extremly busy with everything that had to do with my move. If you don't know what I am talking about is I moved to New York City!!!!! Isn't that crazy and exciting?

Off to New York City!

Ok, I can now finally disclose it. I will be moving to New York City!!!! I had that as a secret for the longest time ever! But I finally have everything ready and I seriously cannot wait. That is why I have been so MIA from the blog and also Tumblr has a lot to do with it. I've been surfing over Tumblr all day long. If I am not doing things for NYC I am on tumblr, for sure. I've been a member since it wasn't the famous social media web that it is now but it is as amazing as it was years before! So go and check mine out if you want some inspiration! It is just the greatest source of it EVER. I will do a full blog post and video on my New York experience very soon so stay tuned!

Statement Necklaces

I have an addiction with necklaces and it started when I bought my first statement one in Zara. Well I might have bought several ones before that, but I don't remember how they were and I don't it means I didn't love them at all. This Zara necklace was kind of a milestone for me since I bought it the first time I went to New York, my first fashion week and my first ever trip I did by myself, so it really holds a special place in my heart.

Store Re-Launching + promo code!

I've kept this as a secret for over a month and a half maybe and it is time to the BIG REVEAL! I am launching all over again my online store Styling Scrapbooks. I am re-launching it with my mom this time and we decided it is going to be an Accessories and Scrapbooking supplies store! We both are very into scrapbooking and I feel so relaxed and happy when I scrapbook my travels and memories!

MET Gala #ChinaLookingGlass

This year's theme? China through the looking glass, but to keep it easy for you, Chinese. Aaaand let me tell you, I adored a looot of dresses so to put them down to 4 was hard. Let's start on how amazeballs Jennifer Lawrence looks! the details of the flowers that FYI goes down to the back is amazing, it is just so classy and elegant, with a silhouette that is definitely worth the envy! What can I say honestly? In this case images is worth a thousand words (or even more!)

Spring Awaits

I used to not like flowers, like at all, I thought it was such a waste of money cause they last almost 0 days and I was just, this is a waste of money, why people would like to receive/give flowers? And now, seeing Pinterest and other inspirational websites, I am all about the florals, I LOVE them, I would love to have a garden full of flowers so if one dies another 10 are blossoming! One day when I have my own house I will plant tons of different types! Are you excited about spring as I am ?!? I love this season and I cannot wait to live it in one of the amazing cities of this world!!! Stay tuned...

Fashion Haul Video

Pay day options

Well, the end of the month is approaching pretty fast and let me tell you 4 months already gone in this year!? Wow, I am in shock, how fast the years are going by! Since we are getting a little emotional here, what a better way to fight that with a little retail therapy ;)

Just a drop with a Giveaway!

Hi people! so today I am here to show you a product that A. it is way different from what I normally post (and I have a good reason why) and B. I love it. So it is called "Just a drop" that neutralizes the smells of public restrooms, I don't know if I have tell you before but I am a neat freak and I HATE public bathrooms, they are my Nº1 enemy on this planet, oh, maybe 2, spiders are by far my biggest enemy.

A Printed era

I remember I was sick when I received these two wonderful pieces of clothing. I tried them on instantly (And I couldn't move because of how sick I was) and I instantly fell in love! Lately I've been all about mixing prints in cool and fun ways, and that is fashion all about! Having fun. I paired these high waisted pants with a crop top very similar in pattern and color, that's why I wanted the shoes to be as neutral as possible, black pair of heels would have looked too much and these sandals are one of my favorites in my collection.

That's 70 Show

Another ootd, good right? Well, let's start with a huge bold statement, I ADORE flare jeans, they are an absolute obsession for me and the bigger the flare the better, unfortunately I don't own them in black (which is tragic) but I am on the hunt for them!

Blues of life

First of all, well I have too many things to tell why I haven't posted in a while and why the pictures look like this. So, I been working non stop in a huge surprise that I will share with you very soon, maybe this week and that has kept me in the computer screen all day. And the reason why the pictures don't look as sharp as I'd like is because we were trying a new lens, which I won't use again, maybe. I kinda like it but I need the pics to be more sharp than how they are right now. So I wore this look yesterday to go to my uncle's and let me tell you how I love going to the countryside and scape the city sometimes, is just so relaxing and nice!

Eye makeup tutorial

My newest oldest obsession

Maybe not all of you know but when I first wanted to blog about something was nail art, then I realized I didn't have the equipment to take great pictures and that quickly lead me to post more about fashion, which is my number 1 true love.

The absence

Well, hello there! Apologies for not having a video up and a few posts up, I was going to do all of that yesterday but I got sick and I couldn't move. But for today I decided to share just a couple of pictures of home decor. Have you ever catch yourself thinking and daydreaming about how your dream apartment or house would look like? Well, I do that ALL THE TIME, specially with Pinterest where I have a special board called "New Home"
