The new Decor

Since I moved to a new apartment I've been obsessed with decor. Literally obsessed. I have so much fun going to Decor stores, even antiques store (which I used to hate) and I want to bring home everything.
To be quite true and critic of myself I am not sure what kind of style I have when it comes to decorate. I've been through weird phases like the time I painted my bedroom wall yellow/orange-ish which looked cool and then I wanted to add some Bollywood style with fabrics hanging from the ceiling and walls, basically my room looked like a fucking gypsy tent, which was fun at the time and now that I remember that I wonder how did my mom allow that? I guess that is the beauty of experimenting.
Right now I would say I am way more into whites and clean lines! In my room I have this black dresser that drives me insane every time I look at it because I just want to paint it white. Also, I should post about my mini DIY nigh stand which turn out to be one of my most priced posesions now.

Number 1 tip.  Definitely all decorative objects should work also as storage, specially if you live in NYC!

Flowers are my weakness now and the good vibes are a must in my life. I try to do everything with love and with a good attitude and of course adding some stylish details into my daily life! I cannot wait to get a vase and flowers for my office!

Have you ever been so happy that you don't remember to do stuff or you are just so immerse into your own world having the time of your life? Well... that happened to me this month and its been these past few months. With my new job and this new life I am experimenting I am so happy that I don't like being in the computer for too long. But today I have something special and fun to share with you guys!

Luxury on a budget

I've always been obsessed with decor and I dream someday to decorate my apartment by myself, all me, all my style. And the other day surfing facebook I stumble upon this great post about bathrooms from Harper's Bazaar! And honestly I need to have a ton of houses so I can recreate everything!

Indoor decor

I am a sucker for interior design lately. It has always been a passion of mine but lately with Pinterest and Tumblr invading me with pretty pictures it has become an obsession, a healthy one I must say. As for colors, whites and grays are what fill my heart with satisfaction and I know they might be too cold for a plae to call home but having the feeling of space is priceless and in New York is definitely PRICELESS (with a very high price lol).

Gift guide for Home

Bad idea to do this gift guide because now I want everything for me!!!! All of the things are so pretty I am in love, specially with this terrarium thing or whatever it is. Sometimes when you don't know what to give someone just opt for something for their home, analyze what they like and the decor of their home and you will be good to go and who wouldn't love any of these items !?!

The absence

Well, hello there! Apologies for not having a video up and a few posts up, I was going to do all of that yesterday but I got sick and I couldn't move. But for today I decided to share just a couple of pictures of home decor. Have you ever catch yourself thinking and daydreaming about how your dream apartment or house would look like? Well, I do that ALL THE TIME, specially with Pinterest where I have a special board called "New Home"

Valentine's Day decor

Valentine's Day is one of my favorite holidays, not that I have someone special to celebrate it with,  #stoyrofmylife lol and not because of all the pink, oh yeah is highly because of that, but I promise when I was younger I hated pink, now that's a whole different story. I gathered around some of my favorite Pins on Pinterest (you can follow me here) of some pretty Valentine's decoration.

Modani moodboard

Today I wanted to share with you a little moodboard/idea of a living room. Modani contacted me to do this (nothing exchanged here lol) and I always had a love for decor so I decided why not!

Office Decor

Lately I've been seeing myself searching all over the web for home decor, specially for office style .. Let's clear this up first, I do not own an office, my bedroom is my office since I have everything I need here, except a little more space, which I know half of the world may complain about that!
Anyways, I figured why not sharing inspiration for your desk or office with these cute little things to spice up any room you have in your house! Nice candles, pops of color and a nice glass full of flowers is a must for mine!

A little piece of my world.

Hey people, today I figure why not showing you my Room Decor and give you some ideas for yours too! Lately I've been all on with my "creative juices" flowing and that's why now I put my pencils and markers on the jars in my desk. Also I have a "moodboard" of all the things I love, is not much of a moodboard to get inspiration, is more of looking at things that I really love and making me feel amazing.

The perfect Room/Office

I decided to get a little out of the normal and sharing my love from House Decor .. Lately I've been wanting to change my bedroom in a whole another way (which is impossible because of the lack of space, lol) And I even though about getting rid of my bed and just throwing a couch and some more "office" like stuff...Which is a bad idea cause a couch doesn't seem too comfy. Anyways.. enjoy!

Skull Shaped Halloween Cupcake Recipe
Ingredients:
-12 Marshmallows
-Confectioners'sugar
-24 unfrosted cupcakes (white or yellow works best)
-White frosting
-Junior Mints, chocolate chips, and slivered almonds

Instructions:
1-Cut the marshmallows in half widthwise using kitchen shears dipped in confectioners' sugar (this keeps them from sticking).

2- Carefully pull each cupcake liner partially away from the cake and tuck half a marshmallow between the paper and the cupcake to create the skull's jaw.

3- Frost each cupcake and marshmallow, then add Junior Mints with white frosting dots for eyes, a chocolate chip nose, and slivered almond tee.

Mummy Meatloaf

Ingredients:
-
Meatloaf from your favorite recipe (ours used about 2 pounds of meat).

-
Olive slices.

-
American cheese

Instructions:

1-Make your favorite meatloaf recipe and shape the loaf to resemble a mummy's body with crossed arms. Bake the loaf until it's cooked through.
2-Let it rest about 3 minutes, then lay 1-inch-wide strips of American cheese across the body as shown, leaving a narrow space on the head for the olive slice eyes. Trim any overhanging cheese with scissors and return the mummy to the still-warm oven to slightly melt the cheese, about 1 minute.

Hope you really enjoy it cause I definitely will try them out!
