How I De-stress in paradise.

To be completely honest this year didn't come to a great start. Can't say it has been bad but it definitely wasn't what I was hoping for or expecting really- That's why a much needed vacation was in the cards for me and one day when I just reached my max point I decided to go to paradise for a couple of days and just enjoy being me and taking in my surroundings without having to worry about life. 

Here is how I De-Stress in Miami! 

- Walks on the beach 

It might be simple for some people but for me, in Miami, calms me immensely, looking a the color of the water and the tiny waves is bliss!

- Doing what I used to do when I was happy. 

What did I do? I went back to my vacation/paradise/stress free life routine. Which is going to CVS, walk alongside Collins Ave, buy nail stuff (this time I got my nails done!) But overall re visit what I am used to do while I am there because there hasn't been a time I wasn't happy. 

-  Shopping, 

OK this time I was focused on buying whatever I wanted, but obviously I didn't find anything lol. But these are the times where I forget I have to pay bills, I forget I live in a super expensive city, I forget everything and I just feel like I am on a life stand by and shop everything. 

 

 And last but definitely not least.

Is to be grateful, take a couple of minutes of what are you doing and talk to God, or yourself and remind yourself how lucky you are to be there and whatever you are going through for better or worse, will not last forever.

Car chronicles in Miami!

I believe this is gonna be my last post of my vacations in Miami back in September! This Miami trip was unbelievable, we had the best time of our lives and we enjoyed every second of it. Funny story, I have to share it! So we rented a car for the whole trip and one of the last days we decided to go on a little adventure (truly it was LITTLE) so we decided to go up North on the island to see what is there, little did we realize it was already sunset time so by the time we get there it was going to be dark. Surprise surprise, it started pouring rain like NEVER before, it was so rainy that we couldn't see anything, it was pitch black and we didn't know where we were, and no phone service, I swear it was a scary movie! I was the one driving and I do not see 100% so when you mix contact lenses, dark, rain and fear is not the best combination. Then we decided to turn right, OH LORD! there was a bridge and a highway!!!!!! We were so scared that I didn't know what to do and stopped the car (are you F kidding me that is even more dangerous) but before that i was going to make a U turn in a highway!!! and then we realized there was a block separating the lanes!!!! Soo we decided to stop to figure something because we felt like we were going to fall off that bridge/highway. Long story short we decided to keep going and suddenly found a place to do a -U turn... one of the things I will never forget, I was almost crying LOL!

A great way to start 2017.

Oh Miami. The city of my dreams, my paradise on earth and the main reason why I fell in love with the US. It was awesome to spend the holidays with the fam and friends, nice summer break (for this summer baby, because today is my birthday AND I was born in the summer in Chile, so.... winter is definitely not my thang). 

I decided to give myself a little treat and what better way to start the year and the birthday weekend with a quick trip to the city I love... Miami Beach!

Huge THANK YOU to all that made 2014 one of the best years. Thank you God, thank you people, thank you mom, thank you dad, thank you grandma, thank you universe, thank you to EVERYONE. I will never forget this year, since it has a huge milestone on it... Me and my grandma went for 2 months to Miami, which was a trip like best friends, we laughed, we fought and we had THE BEST TIME of our lives! Here's to a 2015 full of trips, health, money and great wishes TO ALL OF YOU!

Bye bye 2013!

Yet another year is coming to an end and I am so thankful of having a travelling year again! Last year was Europe (my whole 1 month trip) and now was Brazil in the Summer, then Miami Beach where my heart is and the place I like to call home and then being able to go to New York for fashion week was definitely a milestone in my life! With all of that of course is the family and friends time and I got to meet new people this year who truly gave me what a friendship is! Anyways, I am so grateful for everything I have and I had this year and all my life! Here's to another even greater 2014!!!

Memories that will never fade!

 I can't believe how fast the year went! I mean I feel like yesterday I went to Europe and its been more than one year from that! I feel it was an hour ago I went to NY for fashion and the list goes on and one ... Where are the days going? so fast.. that's why we have to be so grateful for everything we have and we have lived! and I was going through my pictures and I just can't help myself but sharing them!

Miami Memories Found!

Imagine coming to your house after an incredibly month in Europe so your mom can finally tell you someone got into the house (the day after I left) and stole a bunch of things ... heart breaking, but the most heart breaking thing was the laptop that was stolen which had a bunch of pictures from our trips to Miami which I didn't save in my other computer... but now imagine my surprise and happiness yesterday when I look at my mom at the computer and she was looking all of this pictures which I thought I didn't have in the computer!!!!!! I am so happy and excited that we finally found them (actually my mom did lol) But it seriously brought me so many memories and made me so happy to see all of the amazing memories we've made over the years and specially in our beloved country!!!! Miami I love you!

Hiiiii ! I've been so MIA, because I've been there these past 2 weeks! I have to say, going to Miami is always a great thing for me and my soul, the beach, the stores, the people, the cars,everything is just too perfect! I remember that my grandmother said that when she went to New York, she felt alive for the first time! And I have to say, when I go to Miami I feel I live too!! It is just a magical place.

So with college stuff I have to prepare everything cause I am leaving in only 4 months! Day 1 & 2 of Miami Beach!

I am back and so the big news!

Long time no see! well we never do see each other since this is a blog on internet, but anyways! I am back in Chile from my vk's and University Hunting in MIA! and I just need to say? .. well I LOVE IT and ADORE it even more than last year and I am sure every time I go there I will be ending up loving it so much more ! 

I am going to detail a little bit more about my vk's soon, yep very soon! THAT soon that I maybe will post them today or tomorrow! because I am doing a new page! right up here where all the Home- Contact- About me, etc are! Since I am travelling a lot! and I am so sure I will keep doing it I figured out why not making a Travel Diary? where can I say my latest updates of what's going on with my trip, where you can eat, shop and site-seeing ? I made up that idea on my way back home .. well I was in the hotel but in the plane I started to imagine as a little girl!
